At Simson Softwares, Diwali was celebrated with great enthusiasm and unity. The festivities began with a Diwali Pooja, where employees gathered to offer prayers for the company's success and growth. A colorful Rangoli design graced the entrance, welcoming everyone into the festive spirit. The office was beautifully adorned with lights, diyas, and floral decorations, creating a joyful atmosphere. A festive lunch party was organized, where employees indulged in an array of delicious dishes. The highlight of the day was the distribution of gifts to employees, making everyone feel appreciated and fostering a sense of camaraderie in the workplace.

Simson Softwares recently held a free eye check-up camp at our office in Mohali, Punjab in colabration with TITAN EYE+. The event featured extensive eye screenings, including tests for cataracts, low vision, glaucoma, and dry eyes. They also suggested eyeglasses to those who required them, helping to improve the vision of our dedicated employees.

On Saturday evening, an exclusive ISO training session was hosted by Mr. Rohit Bansal, Head of IT Department at Simson Softwares Private Limited. It proved to be an insightful event where our expert instructor provided thorough explanations of ISO standards and quality management systems. The session covered best practices, implementation strategies, and the latest industry insights, with a particular focus on the new ISO guidelines relevant to the IT department. Attendees gained valuable insights from the training. Following the session, a prize distribution ceremony recognized winners with cash prizes. The director also delivered an inspiring speech, motivating us to strive for excellence. The day concluded with a delightful snack party, fostering a sense of camaraderie among participants.

Simson Softwares celebrated its Annual Function Party on January 23, 2024. The event marked a time of camaraderie, laughter, and reflection as we gathered to commemorate another successful year. The evening was highly entertaining, featuring various performances, awards, and memorable moments. The entire office premises were adorned with lights and decorations, creating a festive atmosphere. The festivities commenced with a snack party, followed by captivating singing and dance performances, concluding with a sumptuous and delectable dinner. The celebration was a resounding success, fostering a sense of unity and accomplishment among all participants.

"Lohri", a vibrant festival, is celebrated with immense enthusiasm at Simson Softwares office every year. This auspicious festival, is primarily observed in North India, marks the end of winter and the arrival of longer days. At Simson, we take this opportunity to strengthen bonds among our employees and foster a sense of unity within our diverse team.

The festivities begin with the decoration of the office premises. The workplace is adorned with strings of marigold flowers, and traditional Punjabi decorations. The atmosphere is charged with excitement and anticipation as employees dress in traditional Punjabi attire, reflecting the spirit of the festival.

A central element of the Lohri celebration is the bonfire. As the sun sets, employees gather around a bonfire in the office courtyard. This bonfire symbolizes the warmth of the company's culture and the unity of its workforce. Many of the events were organized starting from the DJ night, where the complete office danced on the beats of Punjabi music, we also organized dance completions where lot of employees had participated and showcased their talent with amazing dance performances. The winners were appreciated with cash prizes. The beautiful night, ended up with a delicious dinner containing the traditional flavours of Punjab, i.e; Chole Bhature along with Snacks. We all enjoyed the tasty dinner and sang songs ending up this festive night.

Simson Softwares held "Diwali" celebration as a lead-up to the Diwali festivities. Team members arrived dressed in ethnic attire, presented themselves well, spread smiles interacting with each other , participated in a dance competition, took pictures, and savored delectable buffet cuisine from the booths put up within the office building. The event's high point was the strategic connecting, rejuvenation, friendship-making, and hanging out while tactical business as usual proceeded. Sports Events in Corporates is the perfect team building environment for employees. Healthy competition and friendly forces coming together brings workforce together like no other.

We(Simon Softwares) organized our 1st Internal Table Tennis Competition. It was a real fun event, everyone enjoyed a lot and also cheered for one another. It was a great team building event and an effective way to improve employees emotional quotient.

The current pandemic has made people more serious about regular health checkups. But there is another health checkup which we rarely do and usually ignore...

A health checkup of your Eyes!!

Keeping this in mind. Simson Softwares organized an eye checkup camp for the safety of its employees and their family members.

Awareness drive was conducted by Dr. Aditya Sharma who educated the team about the precautions to be taken at work with respect to eye straining, eye sight exercises, eye sight medication followed by an Q and A session in which our team participated actively. Overall it was a very informative session and I am sure it will benefit our team effectively.

Diwali is one of the beautiful festivals celebrated in India. There are several beliefs behind the celebration of the festival. This a festival of new beginnings and the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness. But undoubtedly it is the festival of happiness. Apart from the Diwali puja, we also celebrate the festival of lights with our employees together and share the happiness of each other.

Managerial skills are very important for any company to grow. Effective management skills can bring out more productivity and save time. Keeping this in mind, we conducted a training program for our key management people. Our leadership trainer, Mr. Shivinder Mandhotra, arranged a training on management issues to our key management people which was attended by all and was a great success. Our employees learnt a lot and implemented the same in their activities thus increasing their productivity.

Having food at proper place is very important. Thus, we have opened a cafeteria for our employees where they can go and have their food. Also, as we all know that work and recreational activities go hand in hand to refresh ourselves. So, we have also catered to the recreational activities of our employees over there itself by setting up arrangements for indoor games. Our employees can spend time there to get recharged and start rocking again.

Teej is the generic name for several Hindu festivals that are celebrated by women. Haryali Teej and Hartalika Teej welcome the monsoon season and are celebrated primarily by girls and women, with songs, dance and prayer rituals. The festival brings a feeling of joy and prosperity. To add to this joy, we at Simson celebrate the festival and our woman power took the lead and arranged the festival of Teej and did a marvelous job.

Due to the high risk of the ongoing pandemic, affecting work and day to day activities of people, we arranged two consecutive vaccination camps in association with “industrial business owners association sector 82” for two consecutive Saturdays for our employees and for other employees of nearby companies which was a great success and we beat our own record in the second vaccination camp. In the first camp itself, 321 people were vaccinated, which was conducted on 17th April 2021 and in the second camp, conducted on 24th April, 404 people were vaccinated.

Simson always looks forward to beating its target every year which brings a new zeal to celebrate new year and make new resolutions along with celebrating the new year. We celebrate the new year with our employees along with making new resolutions.
